Psalm 111:10

The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

The power of the lord is what I fear. If you don’t fear the lord you don’t realize how much power he has at his fingertips. He moved mountains, he gave the blind sight and healed the sick these are just a couple crazy miracles. Miracles such as these can’t even be described by earthly power. For his power used in wonderful ways he deserves all the praises unto him. we should try to fathom his power even though it is impossible so we poor out with praises. Wisdom comes from knowing his power and knowing you must live for a god that is all powerful. Fearing the lord is such a huge gain is your walk because right when you start fearing is when you get a little glimpse of his power. the lord calls us all to become as wise as possible for that is what makes us better servants. You cannot fear the lord and not believe because by fearing something you believe it exists. So fear the lord and your wisdom is growing  none stop tell you put a cap on gods power(don’t keep growing your beliefs that god power is incomprehensible.

Application

Remind one of the guys 5 times today of ways you realized gods power is incomprehensible.

luke 8: 22-25

Luke 8: 22-25 – “One day Jesus said to his disciples, Let us go over to the other side of the lake so they got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so they were in great danger. The disciples went and woke him, saying “Master, Master, we’re going to drown! He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided and all was calm Where is your faith? He asked his disciples, in fear and amazement they asked one another “Who is this?” He commands even the winds and the water and they obey Him.” This verse makes me think about how we can’t fathom the power Jesus has. Calming a raging lake is not even able to be understood because no earthly thing can control weather. Mark 10: 47-49 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout,” Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more,” Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “call him.” So, they called the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet. He’s calling you.   A simple blind man that had the courage to cry out to Jesus should show us how to stay strong today. The blind man Was shouting have mercy on me then many people rebuked him and told him to be quit.   But most of all he shouted even more, this made me think. This is how we should live are life when people are rebuking and trying to quit us.
