psalms 1:6

Psalms 1:6 For the lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall parish. I love verses that you can’t get wrong this verse you cannot misinterpret it easily at all. It starts by saying “for the lord knows the way of the righteous” this is powerful. It is the acknowledgement of all the people that are righteous. He does this just, so we don’t think he forgot about us. But is how the second part of the scripture starts and that’s one way to draw attention to the sound stanza. Then it says, “but the way of the ungodly shall parish” this is showing us that god knows many will parish. This is the way I think of this verse the lord is lifting out his hand wanting you to come on board and get saved. But the lord won’t grab your hand and jerk you up he will not burst in your life he is a polite god. So, all we have to do is reach out and want his holy had and he will do the rest. Application This Sunday I want to go and ask people how there life is with

john 3:16

John 3:16 “for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not parish but have everlasting life. This is one of the most beautiful verses spoken by the lord in the whole bible. First god tells us what Jesus has done for us. By saying “for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son,” that in its self is amazing. He sent his perfect son to earth for our horrible sins. He knew full well that his son was going to die for the sinful people of the earth, but he still sent him. So, we would have something to live for. Now we have something to live for and that’s eternal life as you see at the end of the verse. This gift is given only to the people that believe in him and they will not die. I want to encourage you guys no verse In the bible can be overused. The power of this verse is insane and it is just a verse of love and competition onto us. It shows god’s love for us that he gave his ONLY son to die for us. Lets r

Deuteronomy 2:7

Deuteronomy 2:7 “for the Lord, your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness these forty years the lord your God has been with you: you have lacked nothing. This verse is a verse about struggling and going through hard things. This verse is also about the blessing that the lord brings daily. The lord is with you through all the things of the world in every moment just if you ask him. My God is not a God that will come in your life he doesn’t feel welcome so if you don’t leave the door open for the lord to work in your life don’t expect blessings. Sometimes life just seem to feel like your trudging the whole time and not walking. I’m here too say the lord did the trudging for you now you need to walk freely in his freedom. the lord fills in all our gaps of short comings that we have in our life that we are lacking. This is all able to be done because the blood he shed for us on the cross. He molds together our life

mark 1:15

mark 1:15 and saying, “the time is fulfilled and the Kingdome of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel this verse is so beautiful I love the way the lord put it. The verse is very simple you can’t misinterpret it. it begins “the time is fulfilled” he is talking about Jesus' death on the cross for our sins and how he fulfilled the task the lord god put before him. Then it says, “the Kingdome of God is at hand” this is the lord opening the gates of heaven to all who are righteous. The last part is “believe in the gospel” I love the way it is said because it shows how simple the lord puts it. Have you ever got direction from a boss that was not clear and made you do something wrong? I have and is extremely painful to have to do something over because of miscommunication. This verse is the lord not enabling us to miss interpret his word and what he wants from us. His task for us is to just “believe in the gospel” which is the lord in himself. So, I can only leave

Revelation 3:21

Revelation 3:21 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne as I also overcome and sat down with My Father on his throne.   “To him who overcomes” this part is talking about us Christians that overcame the power of sin. Many times, us as humans think we do it in our own power but the only way we can overcome sin is with his power. He is all power full and you see in the next part of the scripture he allows us to sit with him on his very throne. This is our loving god that we take for granted. No earthly king would allow us to sit on the very throne that he is on. Our god is so proud of us that he will allow us one day to sit on the very throne that he sits on. This verse goes on to say, “I also overcame and sat down with my father on his throne”. This is the part that amazes me Jesus came down and truly had to fight the urge to sin just like us fully man but fully Christ. But he found his power in god alone and never fell once this is truly amazing. This ve

Revelations 14:9-10

Revelations 14:9-10 9Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand,10 “he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of god, which is poured out full strength into the cup of his indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb. This verse is what I call a come to Jesus verse because it scares the people that have not excepted Jesus. This is one verse that my mom has reminded me through out my life about. This verse opens your eyes up to how descriptive the bible is and how it describes exactly what is to come. I loved hearing about this part of scripture from my mom because I felt like she was helping prepare me. The last stanza goes into detail about the wrath of the lord and how he truly tells you what will happen to those who get the mark. The mark of the beast is one thing th

Romans 2:1

Romans 2:1 Therefore, you are inexcusable O man, whoever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. This is a beautiful verse pulled out of romans a book I am currently reading in my devotions. This verse didn’t even pop out to me but then I was re-reading some of romans and the lord pointed this verse out to me. It wasn’t one of those times you love the verse because it makes you feel good. This verse convicted me and it was a time of realizing my shortcoming. First stanza says, “you are inexcusable o man,” this part just set the scene so you didn’t come into this verse with excuses. From there it dives right into saying “whoever you judge another you condemn yourself;”. This part made me look at myself and question how often I judge others. Recently people got here to serve alongside me and I found myself many times questioning what people were doing. I thought it was weird how many of them interacted with others and just how they di
