luke 8: 22-25

Luke 8: 22-25 – “One day Jesus said to his disciples, Let us go over to the other side of the lake so they got into a boat and set out. As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so they were in great danger. The disciples went and woke him, saying “Master, Master, we’re going to drown! He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided and all was calm Where is your faith? He asked his disciples, in fear and amazement they asked one another “Who is this?” He commands even the winds and the water and they obey Him.”

This verse makes me think about how we can’t fathom the power Jesus has. Calming a raging lake is not even able to be understood because no earthly thing can control weather. Jesus says where is your faith this made me think of what kind of faith I would have in that situation. I believe I would say exactly what they said because that is so unreal. Where is your faith, I had that line repeating in my head as I was doing this IBS. I put myself in Jesuses point of view, so how would you like it if you were doing something you were good at and your friends doubted knowing full well your capable of doing so. That’s how God feels he feels betray that me, myself, won’t believe that He will do something so small in his eyes but huge in mine. This just made me feel so foolish that we think we are intelligent enough to even fathom what God can do.

Application

Take a moment and tell one of my bros what you think is crazy that God created that you can see or something he did in the bible.
