Colossians 1:11

Being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.

When I read this verse, I reversed it and read it the other way. Endurance and patience, are where we get or strength in the lord. Without endurance to run gods race for life we are not strong and strengthened through him. Endurance is so huge because our life feels so long because our struggles are constant in this life. Patience is one more thing that helps us through life b. Patience is one more thing that helps us through life. Patience is needed in situations such as sharing the gospel to people that are not receiving the message. This can make you feel worthless or foolish but with god like patience you could wait for years for them to get the message.  I think Strength is the most powerful word in this verse that is why these other words are describing that very word.  God has the strength to move mountains, heal the blind and raise people from the dead. without endurance and patience, we are not letting god work through us like he always wanted to do. With the power of endurance and patience god will strengthen us beyond beliefs. through that strength he will do his amazing will and blow our mind with the power he has.



Application

When I’m hiking the volcano i will pray with someone every hour in thanks for the blessing that god has gave us endurance.

mark 10: 47-49

Mark 10: 47-49 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout,” Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more,” Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “call him.” So, they called the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet. He’s calling you.   A simple blind man that had the courage to cry out to Jesus should show us how to stay strong today. The blind man Was shouting have mercy on me then many people rebuked him and told him to be quit.   But most of all he shouted even more, this made me think. This is how we should live are life when people are rebuking and trying to quit us. mark 1:15

mark 1:15 and saying, “the time is fulfilled and the Kingdome of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel this verse is so beautiful I love the way the lord put it. The verse is very simple you can’t misinterpret it. it begins “the time is fulfilled” he is talking about Jesus' death on the cross for our sins and how he fulfilled the task the lord god put before him. Then it says, “the Kingdome of God is at hand” this is the lord opening the gates of heaven to all who are righteous. The last part is “believe in the gospel” I love the way it is said because it shows how simple the lord puts it. Have you ever got direction from a boss that was not clear and made you do something wrong? I have and is extremely painful to have to do something over because of miscommunication.
